Breviceps is a genus of frogs in the family Brevicipitidae.
Brevis = short, ceps = head Literally short-headed frogs
These frogs never have a tadpole phase. They hatch from eggs as froglets & grow larger over time.
Due to the length of their legs, they can't jump.
These "rain" frogs don't actually like water.
